- IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The 4400W Max, 3500W Running inverter generator is designed to run up to 29 amps continuously; however, some appliances such as 13,500 BTU and 15,000 BTU air conditioners in RVs may require additional initial starting amperage. This model contains an overload sensor that will activate if it detects a spike over 45 amps and will safely shut off the generator's power output. Some customers have added a soft start capacitor to appliances that require such an intensity spike upon startup, and these soft-start appliances are not affected by this generator's overload sensor.
