The warranty period

This warranty covers the entire lifespan of the TOLSEN tool. The warranty ends when the product becomes unusable for reasons other than manufacturing or material defects.

The solutions we offer

Products under warranty are repaired or replaced, at SOS Outils' discretion according to the TOLSEN warranty, and returned free of charge; or, if after three attempts at repair or replacement during the warranty period the product is still defective, you may choose to receive a full refund of the purchase price.

What is not covered

Malfunctions due to misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty. TOLSEN and SOS Outils cannot be held liable for consequential or indirect damages.

This lifetime warranty is the sole warranty applicable to TOLSEN products. No employee, agent, or other person is authorized to modify this warranty or offer any other warranty on behalf of TOLSEN.

NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR:

Our tools are often used on construction sites, in extremely demanding applications and environments. Under these conditions, TOLSEN products may, over time, experience normal wear and tear and require after-sales service. Although normal wear and tear is not not considered a "defect" and not covered by the TOLSEN lifetime warranty, our goal is to get your tool back in service as quickly as possible.

MATERIAL OR MANUFACTURING DEFECTS:

In our experience, premature failure due to a manufacturing defect, whether in parts or workmanship, usually occurs shortly after the product is put into service, often during the first or second use. When returned for inspection, these products are generally still practically new and appear to have seen very little use. It is uncommon for a product manufactured with a defect to survive normal use for an extended period. Products returned for inspection under warranty after months or years of reliable service are rarely found to be defective. The most common service requests result from normal wear and tear, which is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship.

Repair Policy

As part of our new repair policy , we wish to inform you of the steps and procedures relating to the taking in charge of your tools and equipment . 

Repair Procedure :  

Inspection and diagnostics: A flat fee of $25 is required for the initial diagnostic of the device. Duration: 30 minutes . Any time exceeding this will be charged. 

Repair : Once the diagnosis is established , we proceed with the repair. according to Your instructions. The fees include : 

The cost of the parts necessary for replacement or to the repair . 

A price hourly rate for labor of $50/hour , calculated in depending on the time required ( after 30 minutes). 

If the repair is not collected after 3 weeks, a storage fee of $25 per week will apply. 

Important note : 
For the repair, the A $25 fee will not be charged if the item is deemed irreparable. A 10 % discount may be applied to the purchase of an item. similar or of the same value.

Return policy


All merchandise returns are subject to a restocking fee of 10% of the order amount. This fee covers the handling, inspection, and restocking of returned products.
