Thanks to its dual-fuel technology , the Predator 5000W generator delivers 120V and offers both power and versatility. When running on gasoline, it has a rated output of 3,900W and a peak output of 5,000W . When running on propane, it has a rated output of 3,600W and a peak output of 5,000W. Furthermore, as it is parallel-compatible (parallel kit not included), its output can be increased by connecting a second compatible generator.
The inverter generator is rated at 60.5 dBA (slightly louder than background music). Its starting mechanisms include a simple, traditional recoil starter and a sleek, simple electric starter . A remote starter and propane kit are not included.
With a fuel capacity of 3.7 gallons, the generator can run up to 18.2 hours using gasoline (fuel consumption of approximately 0.2 GPH) or up to 14.6 hours (on a 20 lb tank - propane consumption around 0.32 GPH) using propane.
The 5000w produces a clean sine wave : thanks to a total harmonic distortion (THD) <3%, your sensitive electronic devices can be safely plugged into mains sockets.
